Pick a job that makes you jump out of bed in the morning.

1. First of all have some Goal. Determine your career goals. Where do you want to be in 2 years? In 5 years? In 25 years?

2. Pick a subject that will continually fascinate you. It can be Power System, Electrical Machines, Power Electronics, etc. Expertise yourself in your favourite subject.

3. Pick a field that you want to work in. It can be Manufacturing, Design, Testing, Service, Maintenance, IT, etc.

4. Pay attention to your strengths. Develop confidence in yourself. Gain Technical Knowledge & work on your soft skills .

5. Apply on various job portals like Naukri, Monster, TimesJobs, etc. Connect with people on LinkedIN. Try to get some reference from the Industry professionals for getting your first job. Post your CV on companies website. Get mail ids of HR from Company website's career section and mail your CV to them.

One last thing to the Freshers : Try & Fail but never fail to TRY.
