Dear members,

I would like your help regarding information about the construction of a new underwater storage tank. I have an existing foundation (footing) for the corner wall in the compound. what should be the minimum distance from the face of the existing footing to the underground storage tanks. I tried to find it out even in IS code (IS 3370), but could not find a clear guideline. Do we need to analyze the pressure bulb of the footing and then take the decision for the safe decision or we have clear-cut guidelines for the same.
