I have spent 30 years in SERVICES and transformed warranty service into revenue. In India customers feel service is free but if service is clubbed with a solution for sure customer pays. We need to understand the customer pain points for offering a solution. I created a strong sales force for selling services and a dedicated execution team to cater to customer service needs.
Its a tough journey but its possible for all kind of products. No matter what industry you belong to. Many forward looking companies wants to venture into service revenue model but do not know where and how to start.
